BASSnet Maintenance presents components for static and rotating equipment in a flexible machinery data library. This means you can effectively build up a hierarchical structure based on your company's technical account structure, and connect relevant data as needed. Both vessel and office can use these features.
With BASSnet Maintenance, enjoy planning, scheduling and execution of your maintenance regime with a system approved by major classification societies. This planned maintenance system lets you track the technical maintenance of your entire fleet. Improve management of maintenance and repair, work practices, out-of-schedule corrective maintenance, and equipment condition monitoring. With a useful overview of all maintenance work, you can also efficiently schedule jobs, issue job orders and manage global instructions.
Dry-docking and Projects
With BASSnet Projects, take full control of dry-docking and other projects, while giving corporate management an insightful overview of fleet-wide project status at any time. This powerful project management system is designed for you to track and monitor Refit, Conversion and Modification, Dry Docking, Special Survey, Wet Dock Projects and many more. With this state-of-the-art system, it is easy to create standard specifications, send quotations, monitor budgets, ensure project cost control, and evaluate yard performance.
Create a centralised library of defects for components or materials reported across a vessel or fleet, and conveniently connect related job orders, purchase orders and requisitions, break-down costs, claims, and documents. You can indicate if a defect has previously occurred and conveniently link relevant claim records (if a warranty claim is involved). If a defect can’t be rectified at sea, the solution is simple as BASSnet is an integrated solution: simply transfer the defect to a Project so that rectification is carried out during Dry Docking.
Materials and Inventory
With BASSnet Materials, enjoy a global perspective of material management and optimise your fleet-wide inventory for greater productivity and cost-savings. Our comprehensive material and inventory management system gives effective control over all materials and spares. You can easily build a location structure that covers physical storage for vessels and sites, and trace spares even if stored locally. The system is also equipped to record and build a complete inventory of hazardous materials for each ship.
Track and monitor all aspects of a Hull Inspection carried out on a vessel with our Hull Inspection feature. Inspectors can conveniently enter all observations noted during the inspection including the area inspected, type of inspection carried out and percentage of deterioration noted. You also get a convenient overview of inspections based on Tank Types, carried out across all vessels.
With our Claims feature, you can easily track and monitor the progress of all components and parts under warranty until closure. BASSnet automatically creates draft claim records for Job Orders classed as a ‘Claim’, a time-saving function. You can also directly create new claims, view/filter claims, and keep historical records. There are pre-defined stages for the claims process flow but you also have great flexibility to determine stages of the process.
With the BASSnet Inventory mobile app, digitally view and update stock details for materials on-the-go, with essential offline availability when you need it! This app lets you remotely access lists of registered materials, complete with details and locations. For an instant view during stock-takes onboard vessels, simply scan the material’s QR Code using your mobile device. You can create requisitions using the app. Once online, easily synchronise inventory updates with the BASSnet database as the app is integrated with our BASSnet Materials module for complete inventory management.
Condition of Class
In a testament to the BASSnet Suite’s end-to-end process flow, Condition of Class/Authority (COC) reports created in BASSnet SAFIR (HSEQ) during events reporting are linked to components under the BASSnet Maintenance module. This linkage is also seamlessly reflected in the specific Main Component record in the system. A significant benefit of using an integrated solution like BASSnet is that non-conformities, maintenance, and checklists are tied together so that related reporting tools cover the full flow in one place.
