Maintenance
BASSnet Maintenance presents Assets for static and rotating equipment in a flexible machinery data library. Monitor due, overdue, in-progress and completed jobs through a centralised overview while tracking TMSA performance and routine maintenance tasks. Efficiently manage Site Functions, Site Assets, Asset Transfers, Work Instructions and Standard Jobs, while using the Planner, Job Orders, Job History and Counters features to improve maintenance visibility, scheduling accuracy and operational control across vessel and shore-based operations. AI can provide valid Suggestions for Improvement based on historical & forecasted data.
Dry-docking and Projects
BASSnet Projects an efficient end-to-end Project Management Tool. Plan, monitor, adapt & close docking or any other project activities, from both Technical & Financial perspective, in a user-friendly, timely manner. Easily create and reuse standard specifications through a centralised specification library with template-based setup and revision tracking for improved compliance and traceability. Manage projects, schedules, resources and tender activities with greater visibility and control, while improving planning accuracy, coordination and project execution across vessel and shore-based operations.
Defect Management
Create a centralised library of defects for components or materials reported across a vessel or fleet, and conveniently connect related job orders, purchase orders and requisitions, break-down costs, claims, and documents. You can indicate if a defect has previously occurred and conveniently link relevant claim records (if a warranty claim is involved). If a defect can’t be rectified at sea, the solution is simple as BASSnet is an integrated solution: simply transfer the defect to a Project so that rectification is carried out during Dry Docking.
Materials and Inventory
With BASSnet Materials, enjoy a global perspective of material management and optimise your fleet-wide inventory for greater productivity and cost-savings. Our comprehensive material and inventory management system gives effective control over all materials and spares. You can easily build a location structure that covers physical storage for vessels and sites, and trace spares even if stored locally. The system is also equipped to record and build a complete inventory of hazardous materials for each ship.
Hull Inspections
Track and monitor all aspects of a Hull Inspection carried out on a vessel with our Hull Inspection feature. Inspectors can conveniently enter all observations noted during the inspection including the area inspected, type of inspection carried out and percentage of deterioration noted. You also get a convenient overview of inspections based on Tank Types, carried out across all vessels.
Warranty Claims
With our Claims feature, you can easily track and monitor the progress of all components and parts under warranty until closure. BASSnet automatically creates draft claim records for Job Orders classed as a ‘Claim’, a time-saving function. You can also directly create new claims, view/filter claims, and keep historical records. There are pre-defined stages for the claims process flow but you also have great flexibility to determine stages of the process.
Inventory App
With the BASSnet Inventory mobile app, digitally view and update stock details for materials and perform selected procurement processes on-the-go. Be alerted on stock shortages or purchase order statuses. Remotely access and create personalised inventory lists. For a quick view onboard vessels, use QR code scanning to obtain a list of materials and their locations, or perform searches using advanced filters. Easily draft requisitions, perform the Goods Received process, move materials between locations, and generate reports. With a click, synchronise inventory updates with the BASSnet database as the app is integrated with our BASSnet Materials module for complete inventory management.
Condition of Class
In a testament to the BASSnet Suite’s end-to-end process flow, Condition of Class/Authority (COC) reports created in BASSnet SAFIR (HSEQ) during events reporting are linked to components under the BASSnet Maintenance module. This linkage is also seamlessly reflected in the specific Main Component record in the system. A significant benefit of using an integrated solution like BASSnet is that non-conformities, maintenance, and checklists are tied together so that related reporting tools cover the full flow in one place.
Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM)
BASSnet offers a complete end-to-end solution for creating, managing and reporting hazardous materials. We have user-friendly registers so you can create a comprehensive inventory of hazardous materials. Also, any item/component containing hazardous materials can be connected to them in their respective system records and be flagged as hazardous. IHM reports can be generated directly from BASSnet for certification renewal and reporting, among others, using data in the system.
Vessel Particulars
BASSnet gives access to extensive vessel particulars covering almost all static and dynamic ship information. You gain flexibility to add new areas or dimensions as warranted by specific ship type, an important advantage when there’s new management takeover, equipment reinstallation, and change of ownership. Also, keep a record of all equipment installed onboard the vessel (e.g. Engines, Pumps, Tanks, etc).
