Payroll Management
BASSnet’s payroll management system lets you efficiently process your monthly payroll while tracking month-end, payroll-related information such as earnings, deductions, allotments and more. You can export this information in files suitable for any accounting system. BASSnet HR Manager also conveniently integrates with different banks for remittance of allotments. Designed for efficient payroll operations, BASSnet gives you great flexibility in defining calculation types, pay elements and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA). It also supports Master’s Cash monitoring that enables multi-currency transactions.
Work & Rest Hours
With our Work & Rest Hours feature, superintendents can easily track total hours worked by crew so you can quickly notice underutilised or overworked crew. Also, easily set up work and rest hours’ rules, arrange crew work schedules and view fleet-wide non-conformity hours in our digital solution. Crew can log in and enter actual hours worked. The system also aids with regulatory compliance, and can automate adjustments when work hours are affected by international datelines crossings.
Competence & Training
With BASSnet, easily monitor crew training requirements and knowledge development so you can ensure crew have the skills needed to maintain an efficient and safe workplace. Our useful features help users monitor both competence and career plans. Our Training module in particular is rich in functionality so you can effectively manage training centers, monitor course requirements, evaluate crew, determine training needs, plan courses/training, and track costs and budget.
Crew Travel
BASSnet’s Travel feature can handle all crew travel booking details. Give Travel Agents real-time online access to the system for quotations and booking alternatives, or exchange via an API. Booking details received via API are automatically populated into BASSnet, eliminating manual data entry. A Travel Portal is available to manage travel bookings, and integration between BASSnet HR Manager and travel companies enables easy transfer of quotations for travel arrangements between the two systems.
Provision and Bonded Stores
Synchronised with the inventory from the Purchase Order, the Stores feature allows selling to the crew and deduction from their salaries. The selling price of the bonded store item can be automatically calculated with an average price or by using a pre-set selling price. On top of being able to view a vessel’s material transaction history from a single Transactions screen, vessel users can also create direct purchases by the Master, adjust the inventory and view month-end stock closing details.
Crew Self Service App
The BASSnet Crew Portal mobile app is a powerful tool for crew to view and maintain data on personal information, availability, training activities, sailing schedules, travel arrangements, travel costs, claims and pay slips. This progressive web app also lets users keep track of license and certificate expiry dates and check compliance information. With given access rights, crew can submit the changes and gain approval from the office.
