The BASS European Customer Forum 2026, held in Athens, Greece, was a success.
With over 100 participants and launch of the latest version of BASSnet Neo—the cloud-native and AI-ready fleet management solution—the forum brought together maritime leaders, experts and end users for two days of knowledge-sharing, innovation, and strategic discussions on the future of maritime operations.
Key Highlights
As the maritime industry faces operational, security and integration challenges, a major focus was on how true cloud-native SaaS can reduce overhead, simplify upgrades, and support faster innovation.
Demos and interactive sessions covered:
- Launch of the latest developments in BASSnet Neo
- AI and conversational intelligence to improve workflows and decision-making
- Upgrade and migration strategies from legacy systems to modern SaaS operations
- Product innovations across Maintenance, Procurement, Projects/Dry-Docking, HSEQ, Crew Management, automation, and integrations

We also thank Capt. Ivan Sosic from Gearbulk for his presentation on the value of BASSnet’s digital Training Record Book for training and competence management across their fleet.
