On 8th June, 2013, BASS GmbH participated for the second time in the largest charity run of Northern Germany, the HSH Nordbank Run, to support “Children help Children”, a project aim to help raise funds for underprivileged children to join sports clubs – something their families would not be able to afford. The project aims to improve quality of youth, building their self-confidence and encouraging them to spend quality time in sports groups.

Our 10 representatives team ran 4 kilometres through HafenCity – Hamburg’s upcoming and fastest growing district near the port along with over 21,000 runners from various backgrounds.

All of the participants were having a good time while giving back to the community. Additionally, the runners had an opportunity to win a trip to the Queen Mary 2 which embark from Hamburg to Southampton for two people in 2014.

BASS GmbH would like to give thanks to the organiser, participants and all the people who have made this event another success.
