BASS Asia Customer Forum 2013

We were delighted to have over 70 representatives from 12 different countries participate in our BASS Asia Customer Forum held in Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

Despite pouring rain on the first day, participants were eager to know more on BASS’ future direction as well as updates on the latest product offering. Our Managing Director and CEO, Mr Per Steinar Upsaker opened the event with updates on the company. He was then followed by our Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, Mr Rajesh Purkar, who shared updates on the soon-to-be released BASSnet 2.9 Fleet Management Systems. We were also honoured to have Mr Jackson Pho, Director of Business Process & Systems from MSI Ship Management Pte Ltd to speak on how to enhance crew management with information technology.

Participants attended their preferred workshops and managed to get first-hand knowledge on the BASSnet system directly from BASS consultants and experts. Knowledge sharing on maritime trends was also observed during the 2-day event.

Apart from the product workshops, a Dinner & Drinks session was also held on November 26, giving the participants an opportunity to network together.
